Whether the sea of Brown thing, that seems to upset you, is right or not…..the left and right in your eyes treat him the same?

After nearly a year, you’d expect it would be time for a DVD release. You would be wrong. The reason? It might hurt Hillary’s campaign:

The $40-million, five-hour ABC miniseries, which recently received seven Emmy nominations and drew a combined two-night audience of more than 25 million viewers, is for now on the path to nowhere. Its Amazon page reads: “Currently unavailable. We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.”

With no date for the release, questions are being raised about whether political pressure is behind its current status as a stalled or discarded DVD project. The reasons are murky, but the miniseries’ writer, Cyrus Nowrasteh, believes it’s crystal clear: Powerful forces are out to protect Bill Clinton’s presidential legacy and shield Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) from any potential collateral damage in her bid for the White House.

Nowrasteh, also one of the miniseries’ many producers, said he was told by a top executive at ABC Studios that “if Hillary weren’t running for president, this wouldn’t be a problem.”

Another good point here:

The left does not want us to remember planes flying into buildings and people jumping out of windows when we think of 9/11. They want the dominant image from that day to be George Bush sitting in a classroom reading a children’s book. Any other reality that intrudes on that image must be suppressed.

So on the one hand we have Mark Cuban and Brian De Palma busy inventing slanders against our troops with the goal of helping the Dems (and coincidentally, AQ). But a more accurate docudrama has to be suppressed because it doesn’t sing hymns to Clinton. All of which should surprise no one.

Was that sea of brown thing really necessary?

I like Bush and I respect him and I think that the left has treated him badly, but no worse than the right in many ways.

We get the same story from all of them.

President Bush is “one of them”.

You can’t beat that with a stick.

P.S. I hate Walmart (china west) not because they are sucessful but because it’s been taken over by the sea of brown and they never have more than three lanes open.

(Australian Prime Minister John Howard, a staunch U.S. ally in the war….gave Bush a prominent boost of support. He pledged not to reduce or withdraw the 1,600 Australian forces in Iraq, although he said they might take on more of a training role.

“I made it very clear to the president that our commitment to Iraq remains,” Howard said. “Australian forces will remain at their present levels in Iraq not based on any calendar, but based on conditions in the ground.”

What a concept…determining your military strategy based on the conditions on the ground instead of political pandering to the nutroots. Too bad that’s only occurred to a handful of Democrats.

Gotta be tough being a leftist today, your whole justification being tied up in how much you hate and ensuring you have the appropriate targets, all in order to bolster a smug superiority disconnected from any discernible real world accomplishment. Hate the troops because they’re not mired in self doubt and loathing, hate Wal-Mart because they’re sucessful, hate rural American because they like the troops and Wal-Mart, hate flyover country because it isn’t awash in angst, hate hate hate hate.
