Love that Jonah Goldberg Article. I think he hits the nail on the head about Fred. One of the things that I think the right hopes in Fred is that he will stay a conservative once he gets to Washington DC. To often we elect these guys and they start moving left the day after they take office. We shall see, but I honestly believe that Fred picked a good time to get in. He might of hinted at it to soon, but I don’t think he got in too late. Infact, I am so sick of some of these other guys, I want to wretch, and not just the Dems, who make me want to wretch daily. I have even stopped watching these “debates”. God Love Ron Paul, and some of his ideas I am in total agreement with, but for God’s Sake Man, back the hell down abit, you are begining to look like a rabid hound dog.

If anything Fred Thompson didn’t get in to late, his opponents got in too early, and the backlash from their error is going to show up in the polls soon enough. As far as “raising money”, well if you are spending it as fast as you raise it, where is the advantage?? All you are going to do is de-sensitize your own base, and that is going to show up at the primaries too. There comes a time when you just have to realize that a politician is one who prostitutes themself, but a true statesman is a man who has principles, and holds them close to himself in all things. – Lorica

GWR I will respectfully disagree. Even tho the The Left Wing Media is attempting to ignore this story, the Right Wing Media has been keeping this story alive, with the help of Mr. Hsu himself. But the Hagel story, that hasn’t hardly been mentioned at all. I think I heard 1 story about it on Hannity’s radio show the day it happened, and that is pretty much it.

Even tho the Left Wing Media is doing it’s best to ignore the Hsu/Clinton Story, I am believing that the ripple effects from the little they have reported it will come back and beat the living crap out of her when she gets the nomination. This is a story that can only be ignored for so long. We shall see. – Lorica

Is there a bigger nonsplash out there than Hagel quitting the run for president or seek reelection for the Senate?? I have no doubt that soon after leaving he will be quoted in the MSM bad mouthing what the Republican party did to him. I hope I am wrong, but I am highly doubtful. – Lorica

Saw someone taking on fat boy moore over the week-end on all these issues G-Monster and they made him look like the dumb fat assed idiot he is. If you take him on issue by issue he stumbles every time and does not make his point.

I got the impression that Rudy was saying that illegal immigration is not a federal crime, which it is not. In fact illegal entry is a misdemeanor I believe. He did not say it was not illegal. The man was a prosecutor for years and I think his remarks were meant to be legalistic and not political. If you catch my drift.
