    Photo Caption:
This year’s winner of the Best Ventriloquist Emmy used his wooden headed dummy to accept the prize and deliver his acceptance speech.

Every time I have reservations about the death penalty, along comes a story likes this. THIS is exactly what the death penalty is made for.

There are special levels of hell for people like this.

    “Please Recycle”

  6. i cannot caption this – it is just the most disgusting scam on the planet. gore is just too lame to even be a joke anymore.

    dennis kucinich – now, there’s a joke!

  7. Lorica says:

He won this for the Emmy for his TV show for children, not his movie. So the statue should read, “The Joseph Goebels Award for excellence in Television Propaganda”. The caption should read, “Al gets his “heil” salute wrong again!!” – Lorica

  8. sanity says:

I know Lorica, but he is more known with the movie than his tv show.

I suppose the caption could read…

Al Gore says, “They Love me, they really, really Love me…”

Statue reads, “No we don’t, this is just political brownie points.”

Congress aproval rating drops even lower…

Only 29 percent of Americans gave Bush a positive grade for his job performance, below his worst Zogby poll mark of 30 percent in March. A paltry 11 percent rated Congress positively, beating the previous low of 14 percent in July.

I love this quote in the article….

“The public mood is not just dark. What’s darker than dark?” Zogby said. “The mood is getting ugly.”

I don’t react much to the Bush polling cause we know he is polling bad, and has for some time, what i find interesting is that Democrats now in power in Congress and the House, now poll lower that ever recorded in history.

How much play will you think that will get, doubt very much, if anything we will hear once again that Bush is polling lower…and nothing on how Congress is polling.

In other news, Walter Williams, in his inestimable style, has pegged Hillary to the wall with this take on her morphing into “black” speak when addressing an African-American congregation:

“‘I don’t feel no ways tired. I come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don’t believe He brought me this far,’ drawled presidential aspirant Hillary Clinton, mimicking black voice to a black audience, at the First Baptist Church of Selma, Alabama. I’m wondering if Mrs. Clinton visits an Indian reservation she might cozy up to them saying, ‘How! Me not tired. Me come heap long way. Road mighty rough. Sky Spirit no bring me this far.’ Or, seeking the Asian vote she might say, ‘I no wray tired. Come too far I started flum. Road berry clooked. Number one Dragon King take me far’.” —Walter Williams

    =))

He does have a way with words, and makes a succinct point, as usual.

    Well, well…

Senate votes to condemn MoveOn.org ad

The vote was 72-25. Guess what party all 25 Senators who thought the ad was OK belong to. :-?

Still, more than 20 Democrat senators either found the ad revolting enough, or are worried about re-election prospects, to vote to condemn it.

What’s instructive is who voted NO.

You’ll find no profiles in courage among the Democrat presidential hopefuls. The Hildebeest and minor annoyance candidate Chris Dodd both voted no – that MoveOn money’s powerfully addictive. The other two hopefuls, Obama and Biden, both hid in the tall grass, or were on the phone during the entire time the voting took place. They were two of the three senators who didn’t vote. Way to show a spine, all of you…you can’t stand up to the tin-foil hat brigades, but you want us to believe you’ve got what it takes to stare down al Qaeda. Riiiiight.

Oh yeah…Harry Reid and Dick (”our troops are Nazis”) Durbin are the two top Dems in the Senate leadership. They both voted no too.

Guess MorOn.org was right when they said they bought the Democrat party and they own it.
