This is just too rich.

Yesterday we chronicled a disgusting NY Times column from affirmative action columnist Bob Herbert.

Well, what do you know, he plagiarized himself.

Can the Times become any more of a journalistic laughingstock?

Just another attempt by the Dem party to lock up a potential seat in congress. You know what, why stop there, why not give ‘em 2 senate seats too?? Sev is correct, of course. The constitution specifies that the members of the House be elected by the people of the states (Article I, section 2). Last time I looked, DC wasn’t a state.

But Herbert’s a leftist, and we all know they don’t want trivialities like the law getting in the way of satisfying their thirst for ever more power.

Allowing DC congressional representation is unconstitutional. Doing so would require a constitutional amendment, not a bill. But once again, Republicans get reamed by the left for daring to abide by the Constitution. The liberal/Democrats only like the Constitution when it supports something they want or can twist to read into it, like the non-existent constitutional right to an abortion, when it interferes with what they want it’s either a “living document” or twisted or not mentioned at all like that pesky 2nd amendment thing about the right to bear arms.

More of the same, expected drivel from the true party of racism, the Democrats. Last time I checked, there were no KKK members in the Republican side of congress.
