Great post, Gary. Just to add to it, the best way to combat liberals and disinformation is through your local newspaper editorial section. I have been in constant battle with a liberal who uses false facts and emotion, just like Gary said.

Do not get into a name calling match, just completely tear down their arguments with facts and references. It’s not that hard. That’s the best thing that each of us can do on a local level.

Lord knows if you open the editorials of any newspaper there will be your standard “I hate Bush” letters as the papers loves printing them.

Yes, it's gonna get more blatant the closer it gets to Election Day. That's why conservative activists have to get active now in fighting the smears. More importantly, it's crucial that we defeat liberals & persuade undecideds & independents. If our strategy is to match them low blow for low blow, we lose. BADLY!!!

Once again, a majority of Americans probably have no idea of the things that were said by democrats. Why? Because our wonderful watchdog media have paid very little attention to their masters in the democratic party. All those things said by the dems got some attention, but were forgotten rather quickly by the media. The Limbaugh incident will be dragged on for weeks by the MSM.

As for the election. Some of you may want to get comfortable with the term President Clinton, because with the left in full lie/attack mode and the media rolling over for them when they snap their fingers, there will be a tremendous anti-Republican sentiment in the voters by Nov. 2008.

Truly disgusting, but reality nonetheless.

I expect history will show that the sinister George Soros at someone’s request — sounds like something Bill would do for Hillary– was preparing the battlespace in advance of next year’s elections. Discredit the voices on the right and the appeal to independent voters will be that much easier.
