Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest.

Ok where is the punch line?

How a Deomcrat can use Patriotism and National Securtiy in the same sentence and in the same breath without busrting out laughing and say, “I’m sorry, even I don’t believe that!”, I have no idea.

Every time we want border security, where do the democrats stand? National Defenses? Honoring our troops? Supporting our troops?

It doesn’t reflect as bad as say 1 out of 5 democrats saying the world would be better off if we lost in Iraq. Now THAT’S supporting the troops, eh tom?

I’m glad that Barack Hussein Obama is refusing to wear the American flag lapel pin. Frankly, I think its silly that he decided to make a statement of NOT wearing it and that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to make a bigger issue of it. Including…

By his statement, Obama is associating the flag with President Bush, not with America. Just another reason Senator Empty Suit has no businees being in the White House, except maybe as part of a tour group.
