Where is the left’s outrage at a cop patrolling a bathroom looking for gays soliciting sex?

True. I can only imagine the howling from the left if they had caught a democrat. My issue is that Craig pleaded guilty in an attempt to keep everything quiet, and now that the word is out, he’s crying “foul”.

re “Fail Safe,” great film, but “Dr. Strangelove” covered the same ground much more effectively, and pointed out the basic insanity of the times, far better because it didn’t try and be so pretentious and take itself so seriously. Also good from this era on a similar theme is “The Bedford Incident.” All B&W, and all arguably better than 90% of the drivel that slops out of Hollyweird today.

NC Cop, I really think that this entire case should be looked at. Where is the left’s outrage at a cop patrolling a bathroom looking for gays soliciting sex? I’m surprised no one equated it to looking for a bed buddy in a bar, and when are the Minnesota cops going to start patrolling their bars?

Now, Patrick Kennedy claimed his Constitutional protection from arrest when travelling and from the legislature when he was nabbed driving impaired in DC. Craig really was travelling to DC to represent his district. Therefore, why didn’t judge recognize this in the first place and throw out the case?

I haven’t made my mind up on Craig, but he deserves as much leeway and “Innocent, even if guilty” as Democrats get.

Craig needs to leave. There is absolutely no point in his staying. It appears that nobody, but Craig, wants Craig in office.

Sev, there are no more movie stars, nor are there any good movies coming out of Hollyweird. I watched “Fail Safe” last night. That was a good movie, although it had a pacifist message to it. Also, there were many stars in it, Henry Fonda, Larry Hagman, Dom DeLuise, Walter Mathau, to name a few. It was also in black and white.

There’s something really creepy about Craig’s insistence at staying in office after all this.
