ok, NC brings up a good point with the war is over quote there, but I have another one I wish to whap Obama upside the head with.

The fact that why are you even waiting for the war to be over to deal with the challenges you are talking about in the article?

There has not been any great sacrifice on the US, especially on the politicians. The sacrifice have been to miltiary families.

So why Obama, do you say that suddenly you can get back to business? You never should have stopped doing America’s work…just because there is a war on doesn’t mean everything grinds to a halt and it hasn’t.

And now that Democrats are in power, I am still waiting for them to do America’s Business…to start working.

I see. Well, Obama, did you arrive at this conclusion from your many months in Iraq, riding along with security contractors? Or perhaps it is from your extensive research and many interviews with contractors from Iraq? Or maybe it’s just that you can’t do anything with Iraq like the democrats promised to do, so now you have to move on to attacking other things related to Iraq.

Oh, and what a nice thing for the families of all the contractors who died in Iraq to hear. Perhaps you could go their graves and just piss directly on them.

Democrats really are the lowest of the low. I would try and criticize what they stand for, but they don’t stand for anything but themselves.

Some, of course, are the hyper partisan liberals with their constant whining about Faux News and such, how dare anyone contradict the Pravda that the MSM has become. These people will never be reached, short of their being mugged by reality someday.

The problem is that the vast majority of people in this country don’t take the time to dig into issues. My in-laws are a perfect example, they diligently watch the news every night, subscribe to newspapers and magazines, as they have for their entire lives almost. But they have neither the time or inclination to dig much further, traditionally they’ve always gotten their news this way, aren’t political junkies who follow all this as we do (some might say not obsessed with politics), and try to do some due diligence in staying informed. Unfortunately, their news media is ABC News, Times, Newsweek, and NPR. It’s not that they aren’t smart, they are, and they care enough to read and listen to these media organs, but they never get unbiased news because of it. And they are representative of an awfully large group of Americans, in fact they are better than most, as too many don’t follow the news at all, other than Britney’s latest meltdown or what Entertainment Tonight is pushing.

Thus, the MSM continues to hold sway over a huge swath of the US population, even those trying to stay informed. This makes them very relevant, dangerously so.

Way to go MSM, with every passing moment you make yourselves more and more irrelevant.

House passes Ramadan resolution

Washington – A resolution recognizing the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and expressing the “deepest respect to Muslims in the United States and throughout the world” was adopted in the U.S. House of Representatives October 2 by a vote of 376-0.

Thanks goodness they passed that!! Now we’ll see some REAL changes in this nation.
