    Guess everybody’s busy today.

Michelle just put this little nugget up on HotAir’s Headlines – Congress investigates NASCAR cooties!.

It seems that Congress, as part of studying public health issues involving mass gatherings, required staffers attending to be immunized against various diseases. While the Pubbie staffers all took the “risk” without the needles, a couple of ‘Rats ran like scared schoolgirls to the House doctors.

Saw the movie “The Kingdom” yesterday and I have to say it was quite good. I’m not a terrible big Jennifer Garner fan, but the cast was excellent. The ending got a little cheesy, but all in all it was a great movie.

Since I won’t be watching the Yankees in the playoffs anymore I’ll have plenty of time to see movies. :((

You must not have been using my picks.

Okay, seriously-good news (or at least it would be if the Pubbies hadn’t pissed away the majority last year) – my Congresscritter figured out a way to both kill the AMT and introduce a 2-rate income tax (my take back at the blog).

Sometimes I think that President Bush has a blind spot when it comes to anything concerning Mexico. The illegal immigration fiasco earlier this year was bad enough, but this is incomprehensible.

Briefly, a Mexican national was convicted in Texas of murder in 1993. The administration is goint to the Supreme Court to set aside the conviction because (a) the International Court of Justice wants it done and (b) he didn’t get legal assistance from the Mexican government at the time.

This wasn’t just any run-of-the-mill killing. This piece of filth participated in the gang-rape and murder of two teenage girls, stole a watch from one of the girls’ bodies, then bragged about it later. Justice would call for this SOB to pay for his crimes in the most painful way possible.

But now the administration wants this conviction set aside because a United Nations court says so???? I expect that from the far left – but from this administration? To say I’m hugely disappointed is an understatement.

A full accounting of the murders can be found here. WARNING: this is a graphic description of the events. Don’t read it if you’ll be easily upset.

  7. GWR, you’re two steps ahead of me – That is what I am blogging about right now. I’ve had that murder victims paged bookmarked on my desktop for years. Post coming up shortly.

I actually won money playing Blackjack and Paigow. My only losses came from football games. I’ve got to stop doing that.
