Sorry.

Some battles just can't be won. They should just be avoided. As I mentioned before, "mess with 'it's for the children' and 'it's for the children' gonna mess with you."

My good friends on the right need to learn when to turn off that infamous noise machine and simply let their left-wing counterparts screech themselves into insanity.

" 'Shut up,' he explained."
:(

To CZ: Love your "pouty l'il sourpuss smirk" description of the wascally wedhead fwom the Times.
:)^

To Steve: Mendacity! Hoo-ray. Let's hear it for polysylabbicism. Or something

;)^

Well, give the Dems some credit - they thought they could insulate themselves from debate by hiding behind a 12 year old. When that didn't work, they did what they do best - put on the phoney outrage and change the subject. Now the debate is not about SCHIP, it's about meanies who pick on poor injured kids.

I would be disgusted by the mendacity if I ever had any hopes of the Dems adhering to civilized standards of decency. Liars and thieves and frauds, at it again.

Please don't take this as a personal attack but every time I see Kruggie on a talk show he reminds me of a concrete lawn gnome. Like that Travelocity character. Eau...nooooooo!.

Neal Cavuto completely eviscerated Kruggie on his mid-day business program early this year by taking him to task on his ill-advised economic pipedreams. Neal did it without even raising his voice. It was such a clean kill. Neal is real classy that way. Krugie was ashen-faced when it was over. I have not seen him on the tube since and I miss the little guy. ~:>

Another NYT clown I dearly miss is Mo Dowd. Every time I would click the remote on Sunday morning last year her pouty lil' sourpuss smirk would pop up. Must have been that O'bama 'big ears" faux-pas. She has been MIA on the tube since then :o)

[...] Michelle Malkin attempts - again - to address the real issue of the SCHIP expansion. So does Mark Steyn, so does Deacon at Powerline. So do Sister Toldjah, Wake up America, Flopping Aces, Wizbang, Clayton Cramer, Riehl World View and now me. The real question is how do you draw any lines these days? Nancy Pelosi called a family with something between $400,000 and $500,000 in real assets "the working poor". That reframes the discussion into bizarro-world. (And frankly, if I were one of the less well off people who own considerably less than that family, I would be lived that the system covers people like that - with no real cost to them.)
