This highlights the very tricky road one goes down when one tries to find “the gene for” something.

On the one hand, it means you can’t help what one is. On the other hand, the source of one’s condition is now locatable and in the future the condition may be eliminated through “eugenics,” or whatever it’s being called now.

I believe this is a problem doctors of the future will have when a woman comes to them and demands they abort her fetus because it has the “gay” (or whatever) gene. I think this is something that individual doctors will have to deal with.

(Can you imagine how ridiculous this whole thing could end up being–”Doc, you tell me I’m gonna have a left-handed kid! Abort me.” “Sorry, ma’am, you’re left handed, so is your husband and so are both of your parents. Do you want to have a child or not?”)

Sort of like vets who will not declaw cats. (The kind of vet I’d want and have for MY non-declawed cats.)

There is no contradiction here.
They’re in favor of legal abortion of straight or unknown babies, but opposed to abortion of gay babies.

Well, if abortion on demand is a sacred right, and if abortion can be performed for any reason at all, where the hell do these clowns get off positing conditions under which this “unconstrained right” might not be exercised?

Once again the left finds itself in danger of being host by its own petard. Logical contradictions? Pah! We don’ need no steenkin’ logic!

Wait…wait…abortion is a sacrament! Bbbbut gay is beautiful and gay rights are sacraments too! Bbbbbut…if you abort a gay baby is it a hate crime…KAPOW!!! (That’s the sound of a liberal’s head exploding from the massive collision of contradictory beliefs.)
