NC Cop, tell me about it. I live in the middle of that nonsense.

The problem is, your average Democrat voter agrees with us that he's overtaxed...but then goes right back to voting for the same tax-hiking libs. They always think that it's someone else's taxes that will be raised. Never occurs to them that they'll get hit too. But no one ever accused liberal voters of high intelligence.

That poll's accurate, and just shows history repeating itself. First, leftist voters install a government that raises taxes, ruins the economy, and destroys schools and neighborhoods. Then, once they've made the state an unlivable place, they find someplace with low taxes, low crime, good economy - in other words, a place where conservative principles have been followed - and move there. And then they proceed to turn their new home into the same kind of sewer they just left.

Exhibit A is the stream of people moving to New Hampshire from Massachusetts. These idiots destroyed one state, and now they're busy screwing up another one. You watch, these NJ clowns will move to another state and turn it bright blue. And that state will go down the toilet too.

Do Democratic taxpayers actually welcome higher and higher taxes? Or do they just not figure it out until the damage is done?

Great question, jeanie. Check this out:

Poll Finds Almost Half of New Jersey Adults Want to Move Out of State

Poll participants cited high property taxes (28 percent), the cost of living (19 percent), state taxes (5 percent) and housing costs (6 percent) as the main reasons they want out.

So basically they elect democrats to office, then complain about their fiscal policies.

Unbelievable.

From the Hot Air link Brian provided above:

Sen. Tom Coburn is fighting against the hippiefest earmark and whole slew of other similarly unneeded projects

There are times when I think Senator Coburn is the last man in Washington with any common sense left. Maybe it's something in the water in Oklahoma...if so, they should send a couple of truckloads to everyone else in DC.
