Both of my parents are from The Great Northwest, and when home I live on the Olympic Peninsula, across the Puget Sound from Seattle. It's still a great town so long as you don't live in it. He lacks the Clintons' finesse at triangulation, but his heart's in the right place - if he can just figure out the magical paint-by-numbers formula it's a slam dunk. So long as he avoids inadvertanly saying anything he truly believes he's still in the running. Sure, Hillary now and then slips up and says what she's thinking but she always gets out of it by blaming the Republicans for what she said. Well, give Obama credit for trying.
