Definitely a thing of beauty. 53 or so yards in the air (50 downrange, roughly 20 off toward the left sideline), in 3.26 seconds by my watch, right in stride.

1, Leslie, on your third point, Hillary is just as inexperienced. From the resume standpoint, I’m not impressed with either the Hildebeast, nor with Obama.

Those numbers pretty much mirror those that Obama is drawing.

I’m still too euphoric over the Packers’ win last night to comment further on this.

Our gracious hostess sayeth:

middle of the road voters, independents, and undecideds don’t view Hillary in the same light that conservatives do, so the Republican nominee would have to campaign on his strengths and not just his anti-Hillary credentials.

Quite so.

And a few more points here:

1. Early polls are always about name recognition.

2. The influence of Iowa and New Hampshire will be far less this time around, because of the way the primaries are being scheduled.

3. Conservatives should be scared more of (a clearly unqualified) Obama than of Hillary Clinton, who’s about as close to an Establishment candidate (as shown by the “incumbent’s disease notion–which I ain’t buying, by the way) that the Democrats can offer up.
