Time’s Person of the Year

Last year, their “Person of the Year” was us. They are taking a poll on their website to see who readers think deserve should get title. So far, author J.K. Rowling and The Goracle are in the one and two spots respectively.

The editors, of course, have the final say. How much you wanna bet The Goracle is voted by Time’s editors as the Person of the Year, especially considering how they feel about global warming?

Update: Speaking of The Goracle, Bryan at Hot Air has video from Gore’s appearance on NBC’s “30 Rock” show as part of their “green week.” Only those with strong stomachs should watch. If you don’t want to watch, Melissa Lopez at Newsbusters has a recap and transcript.

Is there some alternate universe where the Time Person of the Year is not risible? Is it perhaps the one where Kirk is evil and Spock has a beard? I bet Carrot Top is funny in that one.
