Perhaps a judge could force Rev Al to pay that settlement he has so far skated on. And while we are visiting yesteryear, mayhaps a trial for Sharpton’s roll in inciting the riot that lead to the burning of Freddie’s Fashion Mart and the deaths of several people. No statute of limitation on cases involving deaths, is there?

I don't know ST - I have the feeling that the MSM could turn this into another the-narrative-was-right-but-the-facts-were-wrong episode. After all, in the fake Duke rape case the MSM cherry-picked the facts to suit their preconceived notions and ignored evidence that indicated that no rape had taken place. There is every indication that this would happen with this case as well. To the MSM there is nothing more important than the Higher Truth (as defined by them). In this case the Higher Truth is that America is hopelessly racist and needs a vast police state monitoring speech and thought in order to "cure" it. So what if the Tawana Brawley case is a pack of lies? Like the MSM Higher Truths in the Iraq War (we are losing, al Qaeda is stronger, etc.) and socialized medicine (only the government can properly take care of you), this Higher Truth is impervious to facts.

I’d just love to see the case re-opened, smear all those proverbial feces all over the Reverend Sharpton yet again. Yet I don’t see nay basis to reopen the case. The Statute of Limitations has long since expired.

STill give the ratio of Eliot Spitser’s ego to brain size, there is always hope.
