My initial thought on this [1] was “say it isn’t so!” but on thinking about it a little bit more, I believe it’s an excellent idea.
Yes, let’s re-open this case and revisit it, so a whole new generation who weren’t around or were too young to understand at the time can learn what happened in the Tawana Brawley rape hoax, a hoax that was perpetuated in large part by notorious race hustler “Reverend” Al Sharpton [2].
Since we see his despicable mug on camera nearly every week whining about the latest alleged “racial incident” [3] or convicting people in the court of public opinion [4] before they’ve had a chance to stand trial, and hypocritically complaining [5] about racist comments made by others, and he’s all of a sudden become the “moral arbiter” for outrage in the black community, let the younger generation see just what kind of clown the media – and Democrats who treated this racist as a serious contender for president [6] back in 2004 (even having him make a primetime speech [7] at their convention later that year) – props up as the “go to guy” (along with the other infamous race-hustling reverend [8]) every time a race issue makes its way onto the front page.
That way, next time he’s seen on CNN, those same 20-somethings who just assume that he’s some morally upstanding proponent of equality will finally ask out loud what the rest of us have been for years: “Just what the hell credibility does he have to talk about anything?”
