I am actually amazed more “box the baby came in” jokes are not flying about. Rather disappointing.

The irrationality and warped logic of the feminist argument here enrages me. They must deny that there is a baby in the box, because their illusions of moral superiority and fairness are shattered by its existence. So they warp reality to suit their world view. Wrong again, Joe. ST is exactly right about the TPF post. In fact, she quoted it completely. TPF said nothing at all about caring or not caring for children after they're born. The only one engaging in gross distortion is you. As for the Desire-eh comment, medical technology now allows ~~parent~~ sperm and egg donors (sorry, forgot you don't think of them as parents, do you?) to find out a lot of details about their prospective offspring, and then kill the child if he/she doesn't meet desired specifications. Try this one on for size - that ought to make your politically correct head spin for a while. And if you don't think some women abort strictly because motherhood would cramp their lifestyle, I give you Amy Richards of New York, who found herself carrying triplets and decided to abort two of them. Listen to this self-centered woman's reason:

I'm going to have to move to Staten Island. I'll never leave my house because I'll have to care for these children. I'll have to start shopping only at Costco and buying big jars of mayonnaise.

Oh, the horrors! Translation: it's all about meeeeee.

Your “translation” of the TPF comment is a gross distortion. She is accusing the anti-choicers of not caring for children once they are born, only when they are fetuses. And that that is sad.

You may violently disagree with that sentiment, but you should at least translate it honestly if you are going to comment on it.
