I'm certain that whomever CBS hires to cover the eco-beat (and that does sound kinda catchy - the Eco-Beat! Now with half the hydrocarbons!) will be just as qualified to do so as the people they hire to cover military affairs.

There used to be, maybe still is, a little two seater in Japan called the Honda Beat. Cute little sucker. The last one I saw had the slogan emblazoned on the side: "Midship Amusement." This thing was dinky - it made the Del Sol look like an SUV.

Ooops typos in my previous comment! Correx in caps

why would one expect CBS to require a hire to HAVE some knowledge about the environment than it apparently <strike>did</strike> REQUIRED THEM TO HAVE regarding rudimentary knowledge of computer type fonts.

Ah. Hah! Kudos to the delightful, delicious, delovely Dana.:x

Does not the color purple suit the lady well when she stands in front of the blue-dominated background? Mr. Blackwell, we have a winnah!

Her use of the coffee cup as prop while Ms. Thomas :((blathers on was a stroke of genius. "I must not be fully awake," Ms. Perino implies, "I cannot be hearing this correctly, so I shall stop and refuel." ~o) She does, and then as if to demonstrate that "egads! I did hear correctly," she brilliantly ripostes.;)

And finally, as she should have, she knew precisely when enough was enough and declared she was moving on.

As for the equally delightful, delicious, delovely Erin Burnett--who seems to have ingested rather more caffiene than is probably good for her--I have no idea what on earth she was talking about, and I doubt if she knows either. It appears to be some sort of shtick on the Scarborough show and therefore probably harmless enough. I think we need to look elsewhere for more injustice collecting against the MSM.

As for experience not being necessary on the CBS eco-beat, well what's the difference? Nobody else knows what they're talking about either. And anyway, why would one expect CBS to require a hire to some knowledge about the environment than it apparently did regarding rudimentary knowledge of computer type fonts.

And that's it from New York City where, of all things, snow is falling lightly on the old heat island of Manhattan.

Helen Thomas is a fake journalist. I don't knowhow she even makes it into the briefing room.

The WaPo story on Hillary is interesting. This might really start to hurt her during t he campaign (if or when she gets the nomination), but of course on the othe4r side the msm will be desperate to defeat the GOP nominee, so as with LBJ's drinking they may give her a pass.

"Rudy would be our Bill Clinton": Good heavens, I've thought exactly the same thing myself. My concern about Rudy is not his position on this or that social issue, but his personal behavior. Glad to see that someone else is is picking up on this too.
