Well, they can claim that conditions have changed and that waterboarding is no longer needed.

Okay, fine. If it is no longer needed, wha might be the reason for that? No AQ attacks on US soil since 9/11? Oh yeah, that was solely due ot the Dems’ diligence and toil in preserving our safety.

Whoops, the room just filled up with flying monkeys! And they smell like… sniff, sniff…

In the meanwhile, we can be treated to the spectacle of the cowards, liars, and scoundrels on the left claiming that when they approved waterboarding, they didn’t actually approve of it being actually done. Just like the authorization for use of force which they were astounded that cowboy Bush stripped of its delicate and exquisite nuance and took at face value.

In other words, more of the same lying and grandstanding.

It’s really like WMD, isn’t it?

The Dems typically give two re3asons for their failure to stop the Iraq war

1) They were fooled
2) They knew that the intelligence was wrong but didn’t say anything because they were intimidated into silence

Even taking these at face value, if you believe the first then the Dems are idiots themselves, because after all, we all know that Bush is stupid. If the second is true, then they’re cowards.

No matter how you cut it they’re not fit for public office.

In September 2002, Nancy Pelosi was briefed on “waterboarding”.
You have to remember that Nancy isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer! It probably took five years to sink in! Either that, or two years to sink in and another three for the look of displeasure to show up on her botox petrified face!
