The person who made the comment sure has trashy friends, and quite likely is describing herself as well. I would just as soon keep my distance from all of that group. They clearly have no self-respect, and I have no respect for them either.

Boasting in my book is just that, (I don’t care for it much) no matter the topic but as to the sluttyness of it all, there is a major piece missing in some ones character that can allow such types of behavior. What ever the words and excuses are used to describe this aspect of selfish behavior are, the definition remains the same.

There are a couple of morons leaving comments in the link which detail the lengths that too many fools would follow, just to arrive at some out of context justification to match their shallow grasp of life’s qualities.

I think know why single people boast about there encounters. Most times the stories are incredible and thier friends love hearing about them, and other times it’s so the married people in thier office quit feeling sorry for them because they’re single.

Well, I’d say that person is a slut and hangs around her own ilk, and is not typical. And then I’d point to the body of evidence pointing in the other direction from this person’s conclusions.

Many people insist their behavior and attitudes are more prevalent than they are, q.v. the nutroots and their echo chamber. I don’t make that assumption about myself, and in fact realize that many of my beliefs and opinions are not mainstream. And I am okay with that. I don’t insist that everyone follow my path, and that those who do not are stupid or evil.

And from the above I believe that everyone can see that I am not a lefty.

Having made my living in an almost all male field, (i.e. automotive and truck mechanics), it’s beyond me why women would want to emulate men by boasting about their sexual “conquests”. I worked at B-3, One World Trade Center for the Port Authority of NY&NJ in the ’80s, and we had a garage attendant in his early ’20s who claimed he had just been intimate with his 100th woman. Of course, no believed him, and a co-worker pinned a pair of briefs on his locker, and wrote on them “Thanks for making me #101, Love, Bruce.”
