Thrashed it within an inch of its life. Since then it’s stayed well clear.

I’m right there with ya, Ryan and Sev. I went to Denver for what was supposed to be a long weekend vacation a few weeks ago and wound up in a hospital for 36 hours. Would you believe it…not ONE reporter stuck a camera in my face, or sneaked past security at 2am to get a candid interview. I’m just SHOCKED, I tell ya.

“Flu-like”? Rudy says he is back on the road tomorrow. “Flu-like” usually last longer than two days, perhaps it was a stomach bug. Who knows, but he ended up in the hospital, leads me to believe he needed IV fluids. Any talk of the actual symptoms? Not that it is any of my business.

I’ve been fighting off this bug for two weeks, and still would have to get feeling better in order to die, no media either. Poor me. The whole family is sick, this particular bug is a very bad one, particularly if you have any respiratory problems like asthma. So if Rudi has it it’s no surprise he went to the hospital, in the early stages this can be a scary bug, feels like pneumonia. But why is this a major story? “Politician comes down with severe cold during cold/flu season!!!” makes a stupid headline.

But it’s an attempt, no doubt, to make him look sickly and weak, any excuse to cast doubt on a Republican candidate I guess.
