The mediots are still invoking the Walter Cronkite rule–you don’t write stories about “nobody died in a plane crash today.” They fail to realize that this doesn’t apply to a situation like Iraq, where “nobody died in a bombing today” is worthy of being reported.

Bak, I think what Kevin was saying was that with the way the mediots are covering Iraq less and less now because there’s so much good news coming from there that once they stopped covering at all would probably mean that we’d won it, because surely they wouldn’t report that either
