In a craptastic sports year of Bonds, Clemens, doped bike racers, and crooked NBA refs, it's gratifying to see that Coach Coughlin played his regulars right to the end, so that the Pats victory wasn't tainted in any way. After the Pats went up by 10 points, I figured he'd just pull in his claws and call running plays and get outta there, but no. So, ok, the Giants who were injured would have gone back in if this were next week, but that was too much to expect. Only Coach Hoodie would have called the same play to Moss after he'd dropped the ball, and expected him to suck it up and catch it this time. Which he did. I had the Giants radio audio on and play by play guy Bob Papa thought that defensive holding call on the Giants after they'd sacked Brady was ticky tack, but on the replay it sure didn't look tickytack to me. And Mike Carey did even things out (just kidding, Mike--I know you didn't do that) by calling that excessive celebration penalty on Moss (which personally I didn't think should have been called (he was just having fun), which led to that Giant kickoff runback. The Giants have a way of sucking you in to thinking they are going to win, and then they turn back into the Giants. They did play a good game, it's just disappointing that they could have easily won the game, but blew it again. Oh, so typical. :( At least the NY Rangers won. whoopee.......
