Far more likely that Obama – in the interests of “restoring our image abroad” – would stone himself and demand that the rest of America follow his example. If Hilly the Hun is the Emperor Palpatine of Clinton Inc., Obama is Carter on steroids.

BTW: That’s “stone himself” and not “get stoned”. Alas, I fear that Obama’s natural state is to sound brain-damaged.

Blackwater, that reactionary private mercenary outfit headed by the right-wing Christian nationalist Erik Prince stands to lose big time with an Obama presidency.

The stupidity of the left knows no bounds. When the Government enters into a contract with anyone it is obligated to completely pay out that contract, even if the services or equipment is no longer needed. So if the “Obama administration” ends all contracts with Blackwater, it will still pay out the value of those contracts. Most contracts the Government enters into with outside Government companies, are for multiple years, some as long as 20 years. In the 1990s the “Clinton Administration” had to pay out over a billion dollars to the Government of Vietnam from past due unpaid vouchers and contractual obligations, ohhhh plus interest. – Lorica

I have never subscribed to “America: Love It Or Leave It.” But I do wonder why people stay, who so despise this nation and their fellow citizens.

Their fellow citizens – in many cases, the people who live next to them or they see at work.

If these people really believe that AmeriKKKa has descended into fascism, that GWB has shredded the constitution, that a political party representing about half the nation routinely steals elections and murders opponents, that their own government carried out 9/11, that at least fifty percent of the population is enthusiastically oppressing the other fifty percent, then what the hell are they still doing here?

Let’s just stipulate for a second that all of their paranoid fantasies are true, that George Bush is worse than a hundred Hitlers. I will point out that if that is the case, this is the only dictatorship in history that allows its citizens to simply leave, for nothing more than the price of a ticket. This is the first dictatorship in history not to build walls keeping its enslaved population trapped inside. So flee, all you hysterical pants wetting hand wringing drama queens. Go, already. Carry the warning to Europe or Canada or Mexico. Convert your net worth to Euros and bug out.

It’s because Blackwater is run by a “right-wing Christian nationalist” and because they stand to “lose big time” with an Obama presidency, of course.

Well, if the only requirement to be a possible Obama assassin is that you stand to lose “big time” by his winning the presidency then there would be about 300 million would be assassins in this country. This whole nation stands to lose big time if he wins.

It’s only January and already we are seeing the paranoid, delusional rantings that will no doubt increase as we get closer to the election.

“They hate Obama because he’s black!!!”

“They hate Hillary because she’s a woman!!”

“They hate John Edwards because he’s…because he’s……he’s…..so pretty!”

It’s gonna be a long year.
