Congrats to your Giants today, NC – they definitely played like a team hungry to go to the Super Bowl.

And yes, MD, rest assured there will definitely be an open thread on the Dallas/Giants game next week. The big question is: Who’s bringin’ the hot wings?

I think that J’ville/NE game is going to be a good one.

The G-men are coming to Dallas. Do I sense an open thread coming next week on this subject?

New York could take Dallas this time around. No – this is not a case of a Dallas fan (myself) being polite to a New York fan (NC Cop). Anyone who has watched Dallas play the final four weeks of the regular season knows that the Pokes are playing horribly right now. Even if Dallas steps up their level of play (which I expect them to do), the G-men are red-hot right now.

Don’t be surprised if the NFC championship game is between the Giants and the Packers.

That was the best game I’ve ever seen Eli Manning play. It was also the best game I’ve ever seen Tom Coughlin coach. For once, when the running game wasn’t working well at first, he didn’t panic and go away from it. And I was very impressed, despite Troy Aikman’s whining, that he didn’t try to get more points with 30 seconds at the end of the half. He was playing on the road. He had a lead. Take the lead to the locker room.

I tip my hat to the Giants.
