Very good point, Lorica. After all, it is far more important what the average Iraqi thinks about this, and how he and she responds, than what our home grown appeasers and traitors and cowards think. Those losers have so marginalized themselves that they’ll be lucky to get even a footnote in history.

More significantly, they will have actively fought to preserve a brutal dictatorship and extend suffering. What a legacy to be proud of!

Ah, good call, Lorica, bringing up Thomas Jefferson. For as some on the left have told us, people like Washington and Jefferson and Adams were terrorists too. Please don’t attempt to contrast their scrupulous attention to the legal niceties of the day with the Islamists’ disregard for every standard of civilization, that would be, ummmm, cultural imperialism. And possibly hate speech.

Anyway, were they not inflicting hideous death upon civilians, I’d find it amusing that AQ now has to recruit from the short bus. It would be refreshing, just once, for one of the left’s moral midgets to suggest that a) this is wrong and b) it isn’t George Bush’s fault.
