But note that Hillary doesn't weep for starving African children - she weeps when the topic is her own sheer wonderfulness. That's what makes me sure these are genuine tears. Like her husband, she is mired in narcissism. But while Bill just wanted to be liked for himself, Hillary demands that we like her as her due. I really wish we all weren't forced to study the Clintons' pathology. I hate soap operas on TV, and have the option of never watching them - an option I exercise constantly. With the Clintons I feel like Alex in A Clockwork Orange, strapped into the chair with my eyelids pryed open. And my reaction is much like his, without the nausea inducing chemicals.
