A couple of years ago, I wrote about LA Times columnist Joel Stein’s candor about how he openly admitted that he did not support the troops, and how he encouraged others like him who did not support the war in Iraq to do the same. As you can see from the comments to that thread, Stein provoked some strong reactions.
