Well, then perhaps you could tell us what his views are because as far as I have seen, he hasn’t spoken a word about his views, or what policies he would implement. He keeps running around shouting like a cheerleader and never says a word.

I respectfully disagree. “Sitting down” with our enemies gives them credibility. It gives them propaganda victories. Even Hillary recognizes that. Do you honestly believe that sitting down and talking with the N. Koreans or Iranians will suddenly yield results? Obama shows a clear lack of understanding on foreign policy. His ignorance is dangerous.

And why do some of you think Senator Obama would be weak with our enemies in a discussion. You have proof? C’mon. He is an American. He doesn’t excuse nor condone terrorism. Who says that McCain’s age won’t hinder him in office (I have no proof but heck, let’s through it out there). Senator Obama gives no indication that he would be a pansy with our enemies. I’m convinced he would “bust ass” if the situation calls for it.

On the other hand, does this really surprise you?

Of course it doesn’t surprise me, but the fact is that he is painting himself as nothing like this, nothing at all, and people are buying it because of his charm and eloquence. I mean, he’s not being just “less than honest” here. He is outright lying. Yet his supporters – many of them anyway – look up at him like he’s this perfect being, and the cleanest politician to ever stroll into Washington, DC. It’s a total crock.

Clearly he isn’t. The dialog I had did not imply Obama is muslim. It does recognize Osama’s goals that are clearly stated by him. If recognition of his words is being paranoid. Then the claim that we can talk to our enemies by you is …. DELUSIONAL. It’ll go nowhere was my point.

That’s not obama hate. That is a clear and concise point about discussion with an enemy like Osama going nowhere.

So… you disagree? State that then!! Don’t get bent!

The left still has wet dreams about Bush being assassinated. The less rabid ones want him handed over to an international court and tried for war crimes. I suppose we could consider that once the indict Bill Clinton for Sudan and Bosnia and Haiti. So far the only people I’ve read about fantasizing about Obama’s assassination are on the left.

Maybe if your side had fewer political murder fanatics you could make the comparison. Nobody on the right that I know is hoping for a political hit on anyone.

What I think we’re starting to see hear is a republican party that has no message except hate for Obama. They hate obama so much that they can’t talk about anything else. They have no opinions or plans of their own. Just obama hatred.

Just kidding. I just wanted to see how the anti-anti-bush screed could work for the democratic party.

Osama: They die
Obama: Well we have religious freedom in this country
Osama: That is the root of the problem. America must submit to the will of Allah

Obama: What if my wife dons a burka – will you be satisfied
Osama: I will be satisfied if she submits to the will of Allah. I will have 7 clerics question her for 7 days and 7 nights of the merits of Islam. If she fails the test she will be stoned.
Obama: I will not allow that
Osama: Then you will not leave this room.

How is that diplomatic? Do you go to your enemies in life and “lay down the law”? How far do you get?

The only person you can control is yourself. You can’t control others. It’s the biggest lesson you can learn in life. Accept what is. These are mean nasty dictator types who will not submit or CHANGE because we’ve ‘talked’ to them and laid down the law with words. We’ve tried for many years and through many presidencies.

and when “laying down the law” doesn’t work, what then?

We laid down the law to Saddam, he thumbed his nose, we went to war. Will Obama go to war? If not, then ‘laying down the law” is empty rhetoric.
