I was so disgusted to read your scurrilous and unsubstantiated fabrications, I have decided to cancel my subscription to your paper. This was the last straw that broke my camels back. Your “stories” have more holes in them than my caliphate, and your paperboy can’t hit the broadside of a mountain. Releasing Krugman and Dowd from behind your elite wall of selected readers also added to the cess pool of what your paper describes as “journalism”, and I do not plan on leaving a forwarding address.

P.S. All of your publications in 2006 concerning my quest to destroy the west were also blatant fabrications that caused my followers to “believe” they were winning when we were in fact getting our asses kicked. We thought your “Betray-us” ad was wonderful until we discovered the General your President sent to our region had far better plans for our demise. How your paper managed to get this information so wrong has set our quest so far backwards that it will take generations to recover —- Allah willing.

P.P.S. Under the circumstances described above, I would suggest you cease your “war” your paper has started with John McCain. The camel-dung your writers attempt to produce will only confirm the ineptness and incompetent folly that displays your continued a lack of judgment.

Is it just me, or is there something weird about this site whereby when I type something here there is a delay between when I hit the keys nad when it shows up? After I type a sentence I have to wait and watch the letters appear on the screen. I do not get this anywhere else.

Re the post: I’m thinking that the NYT may have done McCain a huge favor. There is nothing worse for a Republican than to bet praised by that paper, and nothing better than to be criticized.

So when the NYT endorsed him (and Hillary), conservatives snickered. Not that it’s attacking him (and I’m sure this is only the first of many), they will feel sympathy to him and move towards him.

I’m hoping the NYT runs more of these stories. This one was journalistic malpractice, and I’m sure the others will be too.

The Times also showed a remarkable reluctance to go after Kerry on the VVAW assassination plot story, and on Christmas in Cambodia as well, waiting two weeks before weighing in on either story, and then predictably burying both deep inside other articles. Of course, they also ignored the Eason Jordan story right up until the day he resigned, which was pretty embarrassing for them.
