I really like Captain Ed’s blog. I could comment there without being labeled a socialist liberal nutjob (I’m a futurist moderate nutjob thank you very much). I do agree with you analysis about Hot Air not being welcoming to different views. Oh well.

That being said, congrats to Captain Ed!

Congratulations to Captain Ed, though I admit I am sorry to see that the Captain’s Quarters will be shutting down. I stopped going to Hot Air as well since it became an echo chamber (particularly regarding immigration and John McCain). I may stop over there now and again to see how it progresses. Hopefully he can add a different perspective.

And I worked in talk radio myself for a while. Yeah, it’s definitely a tough job, but worth it if you like it well enough.

Add my congratulations to Bryan. I worked for Hugh Hewitt’s producer when the Generalissimo was at another show. I was a great learning experience, and contrary to what the lefties think, producers put in long hours and work very hard to get every story right and nailed 90 ways from Sunday.
