I'm tired that I have to get accurate journalistic information from the FOREIGN press. First it was CTV (a CANADIAN news station) that broke the news on the Obama's flip flopping on NAFTA. Now, it's the UK times that reports on his suspicious funneling of monies from an Iraqi billionaire.

Why is the media being so soft on Obama? What is it that they are afraid of? Is it because he is black in skin color? Or the fact that they will be falsely accused of being racist or hating Muslims? What exactly about this man that makes the media afraid to touch him with a 10 foot pole. Nothing other than anything short of glorious is being reported on Barack Obama.

If Clinton or McCain was attending a white supremacist church, or had allegations of having used crack cocaine and engaged in casual sexual gay encounters while serving on the Illinois state legislature... this would have been hashed over with absolute glee by the media. Why is Obama being treated with kid gloves?

If he can't endure the glaring light of media scrutiny NOW... how the heck will he endure it when he makes major gaffes as the next POTUS? When he says something absolutely careless, or engages in crack cocaine with a stranger as POTUS?

Will the media engage in cover-up then as well????

Since when did God grant the media the rights to censor the public's right to information??????

Very upset with the way media fails to report even factual information such as this:

LINK

As if things weren't bad enough:

Report: Obama Looks to Maverick Republican Senators to Fill Out Hypothetical Cabinet

Eyeing some of the GOP's most independently minded senators, Obama is considering Sens. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska and Richard Lugar of Illinois as possible secretaries of defense and state, respectively, senior advisers told the newspaper.

Hagel? Secretary of Defense? God help us all....

I just thought it was an interesting little piece of history between the two men. It's not a major revelation or anything, but I thought McCain calling Obama disingenuous back in February 2006 might shed a little light on his perception of the man, whether or not that affects anything in this campaign.
