Weekend open thread

I’ll be out and about most of the day, but will try to log on later this evening to liveblog the Wyoming caucuses (assuming it’s not a blowout).

Have a great day :)

Sunday Update: It seems to be a bit of a slow news weekend, so I think I’m going to take the day off from blogging and get some spring cleaning/organizing done. Be back tomorrow morning.

  1. Here’s a real surprise:

    Castro endorses Clinton/Obama

Ailing Cuban leader Fidel Castro is tipping Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to team up and win the U.S. presidential election.

Castro’s only reference to U.S. President George W. Bush in his latest essay was to say that he “needed fraud” to win Florida’s electoral college votes and the presidency in the fiercely contested election in 2000.

Ouch! Another stinging commentary from a left wing communist thug who sounds a lot like…..the democrats.

  2. So… it’s obvious that Florida and Michigan need two different solutions.

After research – Democrats should embrace allowing Florida’s delegates to count without further ado.

With Michigan, there needs to be another vote with Obama on the ballot. How can anyone think it is fair to have a vote count without Obama on the ballot?

It’s on record that Democrats have the problem. It’s been on record for months now. There is no mistaking whose issue this is. Democrats in their talking points try to continue re-writing 2000 election history.

It was the DNC that penalized FL for the FL legislature’s move of the primary. The FL legislature no matter how Republican did NOT make FL delegates not count. The DNC did.

  3. (vrooom! VRROOOM!)

I have the motorcycle fired up. It’s sunny and about 70 here this afternoon. Care to go for a ride, mistress? :d
