Congrats on 15-1. The nightcaps did save me some; I ended the day at 10-6, with just Siena missing from my Sweet 16.

2008 is turning into an unmitigated disaster for me. I didn’t even hit .500 straight-up in the NFL playoffs, and everybody I’ve backed in the Presidential Pool has flamed out (with the possible exception of the NRE Spring Hill campaign, and even there it took a month of Rush and Operation Chaos to begin to bear fruit there).

Only 1? I knew I gave my Day One luck to somebody. Instead of my usual 14-2/15-1 performance (invariably followed by sub-.500 days), I’m already staring a sub-.500 performance in the face, as I am 5-6 through the early-evening. I’ve even lost a Sweet 16 team (my Cinderella Kent State; I still say Kansas won’t make the Sweet 16).
