<em>"...a bunch of leftover employees from the Clinton admin."</em> This is another matter the president bears a high responsibility for allowing to continue. Give him the benefit of any doubt about keeping them on when he took office. Perhaps he was really trying to be bipartisan and work for the good of the nation. But within a couple of months, at the outside, Democrat and RINO attempts to stifle every Bush initiative were plain to everyone except the blind. After Pelosi, Reid and Company had flung dung in his face for the umpteenth time, and after bureaucratic leaks and outright defiance of his wishes, Bush may have avoided at least half his bureaucratic-based problems had he cleaned house. But even when he tried getting rid of a few leftist lawyers (better late than never), the job was bungled. During upcoming presidential debates, some moderator might do well to ask the candidates how they intend to regain control of federal bureaucrats.
