Amazing how we don’t hear about these “missing” hard drives now that a Republican is in office. – Lorica

Bill Clinton spoke to a VFW post in Charlotte a few days ago, and among other things, said this:

“I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country. And people could actually ask themselves who is right on these issues, instead of all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics.”

This from the man who went to Communist Czechoslovakia during the Cold War for his political tutoring, spent the Vietnam war years undermining America’s effrots, dodged the draft while proudly stating that he “loathed” the military, and spent 8 years ignoring the growing islamofascist threat but selling nuclear secrets to Red China for campaign cash. And he’s talking about how people who run for office should love the country??? Pardon me while I throw up. This man’s hypocrisy volume control goes to eleven.

With Clinton having said something foolish, the Obama campaign naturally had to go him one better. They promptly got their panties in a bunch (did you notice they can’t seem to handle any sort of criticism without an overreaction lately?) and trotted out a spokesman to whine about the way Slick Willie impugned Obama’s patriotism. Just to make sure no one missed the fact that they were going ballistic, they accused Clinton of “McCarthyism”.

The bizarre part is, for once, Clinton may be right.

By now, you can’t escape the conclusion that Obama is apparently a fully owned subsidiary of the anti-American left. He is so in thrall to the loony left that he can’t even bring himself to do things the average American politician will do by rote, like wear a flag pin on occasion. And Hillary isn’t cut from any different cloth than her hubby. If she’s elected, expect 8 more years of the White House for sale or rent.

There MUST be some sensible Democrats out there. You have to wonder what it will take before they take back their party. The last Democrat presidential candidate who wasn’t a loon or charlatan was Hubert Humphrey, or maybe Walter Mondale might qualify.

Meanwhile, we can just enjoy the show, which now is guaranteed to run until at least April 22.
