As it happens, I read the original article from the bloggess in question, so I do know who wrote it.

What strikes me about the abortion debate is how our friends on the left, so adamant that we should all be socially concerned, and that we should never object to being required to sacrifice to help people in greater need, take a position which is so completely, so utterly selfish when it comes to abortion.
