Condoleezza Rice is Pursuing the VP Spot

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is actively courting the Vice Presidential nomination, according to Republican Strategist Dan Senor. “Condi Rice has been actively, actually in recent weeks, campaigning for this” Senor said this morning on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”

You should have heard the discussion on this during the show. Hurricane Kartina Vandenhovel went on and on about how bad a National Security Director she was. “The worst in modern history” was the exact quote. I have to wonder if that honor shouldn’t be reserved for Bill Clinton’s advisor. WTC bombed, 2 Embassies bombed, our Navy bombed, and what does he do, fires missles at a tent, an asprin factory, and helps our enemies take over Kosovo. Nice work idiots. – Lorica

And tomorrow if the entire Iraqi nation reconciled and agreed to work together in every way, shape, and form, people like Biden would be screaming “So what if they have achieved complete reconciliation, the garbage collectors aren’t happy!!!! Iraq is a failure!!! Withdraw! Withdraw!”

Sen. Joe Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said………. political reconciliation has not been achieved.

“The purpose of the surge was to bring violence in Iraq down so that its leaders could come together politically,” said Biden, D-Del., in this week’s Democratic radio address. “Violence has come down, but the Iraqis have not come together.”

He later added, “There is little evidence the Iraqis will settle their differences peacefully any time soon.”

Never mind the fact the surge IS working as even he states……….

What if one were to swap out the word Iraqi for Democrat?

Pat McCrory was on John-Boy & Billy Friday campaigning for Governor. As usual for JB & B, there was quite a bit of humor, except when McCrory was going on his anti-gang crusade. While the idea is good, he was near-hysteria in his approach.

Now this is seriously weird.

You might know that the Russian army has a choir composed of all male singers and musicians. The Red Army Choir tours and entertains often within Russia.

There’s a Finnish rock group called the Leningrad Cowboys. To say their style is somewhat bizarre is an understatement.

So when you put the two on stage together, you’d expect something off the wall. You’d be right.

It gets better. The song they performed was “Sweet Home Alabama”. In English.
