Well said, Bak. I wished to God we wouldn’t have had to go into Iraq, but I saw little choice. Saddam already admitted to his interrogator that he was biding his time until he could get around the sanctions and restart his WMD program with it’s main goal being acquiring a nuclear weapon.

McCain realizes that it was just a matter of time before we had to deal with Iraq and with Uday and Qusay waiting in the wings, Iraq wasn’t going to change on it’s own anytime soon. It was also better to deal with Iraq on our terms, rather than on theirs.

I have heard some pretty colorful “labels” for BO. I am not repeating any of them because they are disrespectful.

I seem to recall one of McCain’s supporters calling Obama by his name “Hussein”, and the left was freaking out! So calling a candidate a “warmonger” is not disrespectful, but calling them by their name is.

Just like I said to Chen, most people don’t want war. Most people wish there were no drug dealers, murderers, etc. But a recognition of the facts as we know them instead of wishing for utopia does not make somebody “want” war. We aren’t warmongerers.

Peace through strength is better than peace through submission. We can debate about the merit of peace through strength or we can resort to name calling…

I personally do not see any attempt by people on the left to understand our position or “want” to debate.

Do you leftists want to debate or not?

Are you for leaving a country when the military commanders do not agree we could do that yet or not?

Are you for pulling out of Bosnia, Korea, Germany, Japan also or not?

Are you for a humanitiarian crisis if we left irresponsibly or not?

Do you recognize what happened in Vietnam after we left or not?

Let me get this right, BO was being introduced, but still wasn’t in the building??? How long is that introduction going to be?? Was he still on the plane when they started the introduction?? Come on, is BO never around when this garbage is being spewed out of the mouths of his friends and mentors/spiritual advisors?? How many more times is he “not going to be present” before this lie grows old and stale??
