How can Jimmy Peanut be on violation of the Logan Act? What is he negotiating? He is in no position to deliver anything. All he can do is call Condi and tell her what they talked about. She’s the one who can negotiate, if she wants to.

He can't. So in other words, anything he 'promises' is nothing but hotair. He is intefering in US foriegn policy as if he is sanctioned to do so as a Representative of this Administration, of which he is not. Just because he is a former president (a very BAD one at that) does not mean he has any power to affect foriegn policy AFTER he has been out of office.
