Thank you! We are just absolutely downright lucky for this to be happening in the Dem party right now. It does not look like McCain will be wanting to do ANY of this during the general election, seeing how he and the RNC have reacted the NC GOP ad.

T-Steele, What is your definition of a “new brand of politics”?

Would it be mischaracterizing yourself and/or your opponents?

Are you saying that you believe Obama must mischaracterize himself and/or his opponents to win?

Do the ends justify the means?

What is WRONG with truthfully defining yourself and your opponent. There certainly is enough that the american people could be reminded about on Hillary’s character and issue positions no???? He could use the money he’s receiving to play videos of hers one day and the next. Is there something wrong with that?

While all this is transpiring, the New York Times and the LA Times continue their own process of vetting McCain smear stories to see which ones will be worth re-publishing during the general election. So far, throwing mud on a military veteran that has far better national security and foreign policy credentials than the other two “cut ‘n run” defeatist just doesn’t seem to stick. Even the fragile economic concerns can not be shouldered completely by the Republican Administration when the Democratic Party will have been in control of the House and the Senate for almost two years by November. Pelosi and Reid have wasted too much time with over eight hundred over-sight hearings and surrender/retreat legislation to prove they can do the job they were elected to do, which was to solve the nations domestic ills. Instead, their partisan politics has destroyed much of their party’s credibility. So much for the “new direction” promises the democrats made to the electorate that brought them into power.

The only way to usher in a “new brand of politics” is to win the White House. In order to get there, Senator Obama better be willing to get nasty. If he REALLY believes in a new way to play the game, he better get skilled QUICK in playing the tried-and-true old game. Or he’ll be watchin’ from the Senate feelin’ all salty.

"In light of the skyrocketing gasoline prices affecting working families and every sector of our struggling economy, we are writing today to respectfully request that you reveal this â€˜commonsense plan' so we can begin work on responsible solutions to help ease this strain."

Maybe they should use Obama's plan.

The mind boggling level of hypocrisy in the Democrat party is fully illuminated by the fact that, after the electoral hysteria they created over Florida in the 2000 election, with their cries of “every vote must be counted” they now say “it’s not important to count Florida’s votes in the primary.”

Gadzooks, do people who vote Democrat ever actually think about what their party is doing? Talk about having your head in the sand.
