It was a lot closer than expected, but just after midnight my time (1 am Eastern), everybody finally called Indiana for Clinton after Lake County didn’t quite come through for Obama. With 99% in, it’s 638,192-615,753.

Per AP, half of registered Democrats in Indiana said Rev. Wright’s comments were a factor in their vote. 70% of those voted for Clinton.

Which presents al-AP and the rest of the MSM with a major headache. Up until now, the official line of the media overlords is that Rev. Wright is nothing more than a GOP-manufactured Distraction from the Real Issues of Change and Hope. Some have even tried to enshrine this in the criticism-equals-racism meme that usually makes Republican candidates soil their pants.

But is it possible that voters will be so disgusted with the racist Reverend and the less-than-convincing explanations of He Whose Middle Name Must Not Be Mentioned that even McCain can’t flub it?
