“This is offensive, and I think it’s disappointing” Obama told Blitzer, when asked his thoughts about McCain’s comments that the terrorist organization Hamas wants Obama to be president.

So now we can’t criticize a candidate when one of the worst terrorist groups on the planet endorses him????

This is ridiculous! Every time someone criticizes Obama he declares it offensive and disappointing. His lackeys in the media certainly adhere to it.

So what ARE we allowed to criticize him about? His haircut?

Sev, Sev, old buddy – don’t you understand? Because the leftists have no standards, nothing they do is wrong in their minds.

That’s why is was OK for Bill Clinton to lie to a grand jury, but Scooter Libby ought to be at hard labor for life. They think it’s OK to lie to save your political skin, and we don’t. Ergo, Clinton did nothing wrong, but Libby did.

It’s why William “The Refrigerator” Jefferson is still in Congress, but Tom Delay isn’t. They aren’t bothered by little things like corruption and indictments, because that how low their norms and standards are. Our standards are higher. Therefore, they see no contradiction in keeping their guy in the House (on the Homeland Security committee no less), but our guy had to go.

It’s why Gerry Studds could sexually assault congressional pages and receive an ovation from them – but Mark Foley was drummed out of Congress for a few Emails. By their standards, Studds did nothing wrong. By ours, Foley did.

Basically, what the leftists are saying is “We’re not hypocrites because anything goes with us. You guys, on the other hand, are – because you do believe in right and wrong.”

Re the search for a McCain “Pastorgate” have you noticed that whenever a lib/Dem is caught doing something bad, rather than get upset with them and disgusted, the leftist Democrats instead desperately search for evidence of any “wingnut” or Republican doing the same thing, even if they’re not and you have to lie about it. That suddenly makes it all OK for your guy and just another sign of Republican hypocrisy. It’s amazing the things you can apparently rationalize away that way.
