Is it me or is this story suggesting that Republican Leadership is just going to roll over and die?? Maybe it is time to start thinking about a true conservative 3rd party.

Or maybe some long overdue new leadership among the Congressional GOP.

This is from a story regarding the Rep loss in Mississippi.

The loss has already shaken establishment Republicans in Washington. After losing special elections in Illinois and Louisiana, the House GOP conference already expects a bad year for their party.

You’re displaying the kind of ignorance typical of either a damn Yankee or a government school grad there Terrye. Forrest was no bigot, and the KKK was not originally founded to be what it became. Forrest founded it to counter the newly created “Union Leagues” that were causing so many problems in the South during Reconstruction, and it was originally a political organization. When it went off the rails and became what it has stayed, Forrest disowned it and withdrew all support for it or its members. But, given your other comments it just shows you are as ignorant of real history and inclined to have opinions that fit on a bumper sticker as most unfortunately. Jeff Davis deserves better than you seem to give him too.

But the way you respond, to the names of both Forrest and Davis, indicates you are the exact type of person these kinds of low brow ads are designed to reach. So, tell me, have you any relatives who are thespians? And did you ever matriculate in front of young women?

I agree that was something of a dirty trick in Miss, but still, Jefferson Davis is not a whole lot better than Forrest. The president of the Confederacy vs the founder of the KKK.

I agree, Hillary best chance to show she was a contender in WV, and she barely got over 50%, getting 58% of the vote (They were hoping for 80%).

Personally I hope she continues on and keeps the infighting on the Democrats side, because this should be a shoe in for McCain, he is having troubles enough with republican and conservatives.

How he managed to get the republican nomination I will never know, since it seemed like he was the most detested rhino of the republicans.

Conservatives have no real candidate in this race, and if they try and sell McCain as conservative I will eat my computer.
