I quite purchasing the Oregonian, 3 or 4 years ago, because there is very little balance. The editorial page runs at least 6 to 1 leftwing to conservative. In that it mirrors the community. Portlanders would love to take over the "most leftwing in Amerika" status from San Francisco.
