I notice among the names cited by ST as concerned is Bill Perkins’s. Before he was elected to the State Senate, he was city council member for my district and in fact he became the deputy speaker. He doesn’t represent me in the Senate, alas. I missed him by a few blocks when they gerrymanderedredistricted a few years ago.
