It would be so obvious that she was being forced upon him that he'd have to defend himself from charges that he was too weak to pick his own VP. So I suppose the health care thing is the better bet. Of course, this would involve more deal-making, as no doubt New York's Governor Paterson would need to be involved in order to decide who will replace her in the Senate. (Perhaps Rep.
