With identity politics we cannot attach ourselves to any ONE person being holier than though as somebody will find ‘dirt’ on them. Whether we like Condi, or Mitt Romney, or John McCain or Bush, etc identity politics does not score.

So… offense to me means educating people on how things work economically, or what science truly is in environmental or energy issues or what the results of policies are when you punish hard working to give to people who are having nothing to do with “personal responsibility”

To me the issues are:
1) National Security
2) Economics 101
3) Personal Responsibility
4) Private property ownership
5) Equal opportunity (not equal results)

Not necessarily in that order and that list is not all inclusive.

We can all point out that ‘conservatives’ aren’t to blame here as when liberals throw mud it’ll STICK if we don’t respond but my goal would be to show that Obama is being divisive not a uniter as he said. Willfully getting the facts this wrong – is it because the ends justify the means? Well the means are important as well.

It is actually exciting to see John McCain is not generally a mud thrower. He gains respect for that.

One wonders – when are McCain and the GOP going to actually start fighting back?
