This is a government loan. Does anyone know what the interest rate will be? The last time Chrysler took a government loan, they paid millions of dollars in interest.

How about “non-binding” stipulations.

Bush has really turned into a disappointment on everything other than the war on terror, and even that has been weaker than it should have been.

Compassionate Conservatism is no conservatism at all. Meh.

GM & Chrysler will get, with stipulations, another opportunity to get it right, while the American taxpayer gets saddled with the bill.

I hate to have to ReWrite™ your work, but I must in this case...

GM & Chrysler will get, with unspecified, minimal stipulations, ~~another opportunity to get it right~~ 3 months to get nationalization of their losing business model past a "recalictrant" Senate, while the American taxpayer gets saddled with the bill.
